THE MEMPHIS MANIFESTO
The Memphis Manifesto is the definitive blueprint for communities competing for creatives and seeking to retain their own. Its principles are guiding communities looking to be magnets for talent in the Knowledge Economy. It was written in Memphis at the first national gathering of the Creative Class by the Creative 100 and their Memphis hosts, representing media, arts, planning, economic development, politics, technology, nonprofits, business, government, and foundations from 47 cities. CREATIVE AMERICA PROJECT

The Creative America Project is currently a volunteer effort aiming to encourage artists and creative professionals to vote in 2004 and to run for office in 2006.
